Carpentry
We have a variety of work going on. Shedders bringing in their own projects, we make goods for sale to support the Shed, we offer to make furniture or goods for community groups or repair damaged or tired furniture for commission or for sale. We have a good range of portable hand tools that you would expect to have in a well equiped workshopshop, including a Biscuit jointer.
Machining
We have a well equipped workshop with including a Chop saw, Through saw, Table router, Thickness planer, Pillar drill, Belt sanders, Band saw, Scroll saw and an Off hand bench grinder.
Wood turning
We have two lathes with a varity of hand turning tools, internal and extenal headstock chucks, revolvong centres, fixed centres, drill chucks and other accessories. We also have access to an experienced wood turner who visits the shed and passes on his skills to others.
